Job Summary & Job Duties
Provide oversight and support to shipping and receiving operations as well as enable proper warehousing and inventory accountability on off-shift.
• Manage Warehouse Tin-Flash Pack schedule and receiving on off-shift. Provide a status update on end of shift report.
• Oversee Warehouse colleagues and work with off-shift supervision team as needed to direct concerns.
• Oversee inventory adjustments on raw material and finished goods; ensure daily communication on inventory.
• Schedule LTL recovery pick-ups in orders in logistics inbox; Release freight and prep for intercompany.
• Use SAP system to execute shipment scheduling, material selection, and stock inquiries.
• Contribute to department support for on-time shipment scheduling & execution, management reporting and ROPE activities.
• Ensure accurate document preparation for shipments.
• Manage logistics supplies and re-stock items.
• Support Communication with Shippers, Production, Customer Care, Planning, Finance, Quality and on order status.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives through discrepancy investigation, including an uproot analysis, follow up and transaction accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete other tasks as directed and required on a daily basis to help ensure timely and accurate completion of daily shipping and inventory activities and objectives.
Qualifications:
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible, collaborative communication style.
• 3-5 years work experience, preferably in an industrial warehouse environment
• Experience with inventory control, logistics and shipping preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP system preferred.
• Associate’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field preferred; High School diploma is required.
• Ability to set, manage and track multiple priorities and related details
• Highly organized and disciplined thinker, effective self-management.
• Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office.
