Position Summary
Working Team Leader position will work with Supervisor to schedule and effectively communicate daily production, manpower, and inventory management requirements to the team. Lead cross training efforts on the various department functions and duties. Encourage and guide the personal development of colleagues in order to strengthen the individual abilities, attributes and confidence of each. Work together with Supervisor to ensure that daily metric requirements are met and maintained (Safety, Quality, Production, Delivery, Cost). Provide information (Feed-Back) to Supervisor/Leadership for Continuous Improvement suggestions/opportunities. As a working Lead, conduct the day-to-day order picking/ receiving/replenishing/shipping activities and work with other colleagues (Team Player) to create and maintain a safe, organized, and energetic working environment/culture that meets/exceeds standards and customer expectations.

● Effectively communicate and maintain a safe, clean and orderly environment. Work in fast paced environment, meeting or exceeding standard metrics and customer requirements/expectations. Have the ability to work well with others (Team Player) and be flexible in job/duty rotation. Work with printing and labeling equipment. Safely operate various materials handling equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

2 to 5 years 5+ to 7 years

High School

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
● 2+ years shipping department/distribution operations leadership experience in a LEAN environment.
● Basic computer skills
