STEMCO is highly invested in providing valuable opportunities for students who are interested in pursuing a career in Product & Business Strategy. Our internship opportunity is aimed at bridging the gap between classroom curriculum and hands-on application.

This 12-week internship offers students the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled professional who will provide mentorship, training, and project assignments to create knowledge application. You will also attend development training to enhance your professional skills alongside your intern co-hort.

Participation in the internship program requires you to be currently enrolled in an academic program related to the field of study the internship is geared toward. Your work location will be dependent upon the scope of work you are applying to pursue, we will discuss this in more detail during the recruitment process.

  • Perform market research and data analytics to support business decision making
  • Support basic financial modeling analysis
  • Prepare charts, graphs, tables, schema, and other informational assets for inclusion into management powerpoint presentations
  • Collaborate with team members in producing high quality, crisp management presentations

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in business administration, finance, marketing, or engineering management with anticipated graduation date of December 2021- Summer 2022

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Strong analytical skills including ability to filter, and organize data meaningfully
  • Essential understanding of business subject matter such as finance, accounting, strategy.
  • Technical/manufacturing domain expertise is a plus but not mandatory

Potential skills to be enhanced:

  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Powerpoint
  • Competency in Business Intelligence applications (e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI etc.)
  • Increased commercial vehicle and manufacturing industry general domain knowledge
  • Exposure to strategic thinking and business case evaluation
  • Collaboration with a diverse group of personnel from different functional areas (finance, HR, product management, sales, general management)
