Sharpen and hone skiving blades
Read accurately and use precision measuring tools and gauges to check operator’s work in process
Fill out and maintain production cards and records pertinent to work produced
Maintain blades and lathe properly
Operate sheet shear, calendar and coil slitter as needed
Work from verbal and written instructions
Locate raw materials required and return scrap to proper receptacle
Perform set-up following standard operating procedures
Perform work with a minimum of supervision
Operate a forklift truck, hoist or crane
Maintain a neat and orderly work area
Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three months related experience in a manufacturing facility required.
Ability to make simple calculations and measurements required.
