Position Summary
Conduct the day-to-day production activities associated with assigned duties in the Rubber Mold Department. This position requires the ability to flex two hours before or two hours after shift start and end based on business needs. May require alternate shift coverage for colleagues on leave.

Maintain molding tooling, includes cleaning, inspecting and proper storage of tooling.
Assemble mold sets into mold chase for next production run (includes disassembly).
Setup molding equipment for next production run.
Troubleshoot molding issues (includes machine issues).
Assist molding operators with technical issues causing product defects.
Work with maintenance and engineering groups to resolve molding and machine issues.
Work with tool and die group on tooling repairs or replacement.
Work with Rubber Molding Leadership on machine C/O scheduling.
Setup and run prototype tooling as well as tooling qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Technical Certificate or Trade School Degree preferred.
Experience preferred: Leadership experience, Machine setup, Hazardous chemical experience / training (sodium hydroxide), Forklift.
Any robotic equipment experience.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Injection molding experience helpful.
Good people skills and verbal communication.
Team Work required.
Good problem solving skills.
Leadership skills helpful.
Ability to evaluate visual inventory system and plan work load appropriately (self directed).
Ability to perform several task at once, at times under stressful conditions.
Good recordkeeping and documentation skills.
Willingness and ability to work any shift when required.
Ability to learn and navigate multiple CNC interfaces.
Injection Molding training required.
Experience required: Injection molding experience, Manufacturing experience, Mechanical experience.
Required to operate Injection Molding machines, Ultra Sonic Cleaning systems, Robotic and pneumatic knife trimmers.
Tools required basic hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, rubber mallets, various brass tools), Impact wrenches, Hoist, Mold Tooling installation cart.
Frequently required to stand, walk, use of hands and arms, climb and balance, talk and hear, and move up to 35 pounds.
Occasionally required stoop, kneel, and crawl,
Frequently exposed to extreme heat.
PPE Required: Gloves (cloth and chemical resistant)., Ear plugs, Safety shoes (steel toed), Safety glasses
Face shield, Chemical resistant apron, Kevlar sleeves.
Ability to flex two hours before or two hours after shift start and end based on business needs
May require alternate shift coverage for colleagues on leave.
Preferred Qualifications:
