Based in Houston, Texas, Technetics PTFE & Polymer Solutions engineers and manufactures a full range of standard and custom polymer products and services, including tapes and films, thread seal, rods and cylinders, compression- and isostatic-molded components, custom machining, high performance etching, semiconductor component cleaning and more.
Our state-of-the-art compounding laboratories and engineering capabilities allow us to work with customers to develop new polymer technologies that address specific critical application needs in a broad array of industries, including Aerospace, Semiconductor, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, Chemical Processing, Industrial and Construction.

Production Technicians /Fabricators will operate a variety of manufacturing equipment to produce precision reliant, critical parts in variety of roles within the facility.  The person in this role will perform basic to moderately complex to extremely complex production, fabrication, modification and assembly of various high-performance parts under minimal supervision, supporting prototype and production builds based on skill level.


  • Maintains records of raw materials and supplies necessary for the fabrication processes.
  • Schedules fabrication processes for work orders to meet order deadlines and customer specifications.
  • Inspects assigned equipment to verify that it is in good operating condition.
  • Monitors, updates and advises of any problems with the shop schedule to supervisor.
  • Advises supervisor of any problems whether mechanical, material or drawing related
  • Monitors parts for conformance to visual and dimensional quality standards.
  • Ensures that all quality specifications are met.
  • Supports housekeeping requirements (5S) by keeping work area neat and orderly.
  • Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a similar environment desired
  • Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to legally work for any US employer. No Sponsorship 



This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.



Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle and feel material, as well as reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
