Review forecasts for independent demand items. Monitors and manages master demand schedule to achieve customer delivery compliance.
Responsible for creating, managing and maintaining the production schedules and work orders for assigned areas, utilizing manpower, and equipment capacity constraints.
Manage the status of customer orders and make decisions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify and execute plans for improvement.
Develop, lead, and participate in Continuous Improvement events to implement Kanban, visual management systems, and 5S.
Work to optimize asset utilization and production efficiencies by level loading and setting appropriate stocking levels.
Communicate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics and Customer Service on matters relating to inventory, customer and material requirement issues, and shipping.
Works in tandem with Operations and Industrial Engineering on items including but not limited to:
Bill of Material and Router accuracy
Costing and Work order related issues
Negative inventory management
Excess & Obsolete inventory management
Accuracy in Oracle of material attributes
Responsible for developing and managing inventory levels to yearly objective goals.
Manage and communicate the reporting of inventory related processes including Scrap, Production and Inventory Write-offs.
Leads cycle count programs and semi-annual Physical Inventories.
Works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service to proactively resolve issues concerning schedules, production, and material deliveries.
Acts as Production Supervisor in a back-fill capacity.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4 years of experience in a related environment.
Ability to problem solve and work with a sense of urgency while prioritizing multiple needs in a fast paced environment.
Strong computer skills including Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and data analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication/organizational skills
Demonstrated skills using ERP software.
Must be able to establish work schedules, and make decisions with little or no direct supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Office and Manufacturing Floor Position: Ability to perform sedentary work, spending extended periods of time working with a computer. Physical effort may include stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Clarity of vision to see near and mid-range. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Some travel may be required, (5% - 10%)
