Job Summary & Job Duties
Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and general building systems. Performs a variety of duties to support production needs to ensure machine proficiency and production efficiencies.

Installation/decommission of equipment
Implements, tests, troubleshoots and improves electronic automation and controls systems in manufacturing/production/operations processes to increase production quality, efficiency and volume.
Checks control system schematics and specifications and uses software and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.
Develops and defines control system applications for various machinery and equipment using technologies or platforms such as ladder logic programming for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human machine interfaces (HMIs), data control systems (DCSs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), computerized numerical control (CNC) systems or motion control technology
Ensures a safe environment with respect to all Federal, State and O.S.H.A. regulations utilizing good manufacturing practices with minimal impact on production efficiencies.
Adheres to all safety requirements
Performs record documentation in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Associates Degree in related field
2 Years in manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs.
Experience in the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment; such as drill press, grinding machine, milling machine, lathe, etc.
Possess basic electrical and troubleshooting Skills.
Must possess basic carpentry, plumbing, welding, and fabrication skills.
Ability to drive fork lifts; man/scissor lifts and be willing to perform various tasks of height.
Basic blueprint and schematic reading skills
Ability to effectively work under minimal supervision
Must be flexible to both indoor and outdoor work.
Certificate in one of more related fields is a plus
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle and feel, as well as reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
