The Operational Excellence Manager will be a key connector and integrator of operational shared services and performance improvement projected. This position will be responsible for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements. Provides functional leadership for Facilities, EMLS, EHS, and Operational Project Management.
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience
Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others
Validated ability in project management skills and ability to teach others and shown desire and ability to manage/coach performance of direct reports
Lead professional employees and provide complex support to production or operations team(s).
Proven accountability for the performance and results of an operations and project team.
Ability to adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Drives decisions and problem-solving discussions to align policies, procedures, and business plan with a high level of autonomy.
Provides some technical guidance to employees and Operations Leaders.
Proven experience with safety concepts as related to maintenance work and maintenance work scheduling.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Manufacturing Environment with variations in temperature and light.
Light to moderate physical effort (lifts / carry up to 25 pounds).
Frequent prolonged standing/walking. Lifts supplies/equipment.
