Performs all semi-skilled jobs in department.
Assignments are scheduled on a daily basis by the department Superintendent and may involve working any shift.
Uses a wide variety of measuring devices and works to prints and sketches and to close tolerances.
Requires direction only when new or experimental work is involved.
Relieves other workers, substitutes for workers during their absences, assists in reducing excessive work loads in production centers, and performs extra work whenever and wherever needed.
Keeps work area clean.
Performs other jobs as assigned by Supervisor.
Daily cleans mill and keeps mill area in an orderly condition.

Office and Manufacturing Floor Position: Ability to perform sedentary work, spending extended periods of time working with a computer. Physical effort may include stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Clarity of vision to see near and mid-range. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
