Material Handler

Role and Responsibilities:

The Material Handler’s main role is to organize, keep inventory count of, and distribute, material stock throughout the production line. Material Handlers job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read job travelers to assure correct material is pulled and is handled per instructions
• Deliver parts and packages to their designated workstations in a safe and timely manner
• Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate inventory of Production raw materials
• Inspect all raw materials for Production-use; store raw materials according to established storage conditions
• Operate the Meta-Lax stress relief equipment
• Any other tasks as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• The ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• The ability to stand and walk on cement floors for a long periods of time throughout the workday
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license
