Job Summary & Job Duties:

Metrology Tech Role

The Metrology technician supports the optical thin film process.
Duties include loading spectrophotometer equipment, interpreting and analyzing product data, following specifications, department process and nomenclature. Ensure that product adhere to high standard. Strong attention to safety, detail, accuracy and quality.

Job Duties

• Operates metrology equipment and processes wafers, parts, and data
• Calibrates equipment
• Performs flatness measurements
• Writes documentation for lab processes.
• Follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestion for continuous improvement
• Performs wafer and data analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Basic math
• Computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer science/ data analysis interests
• Work on their own with limited supervision
• Can multitask
• Comfortable working on a computer
• Excel/Email/O365 experience
• Some college helpful (STEM)
• Metrology experience a plus

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

• While using tools and operating machinery, performing duties of this job, will regularly be required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms
• Temperature is moderate within work environment.
• The noise level in the manufacturing environment is moderate
