The IT Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for leading the effort to understand the business needs for the Stemco Commercial team and identify how to best meet those needs. This includes working with the business and the technology functions to gather requirements for development and management. The role leads the effort to analyze, validate and document the business and system requirements. They are a key facilitator within the IT organization, acting as a bridge between the business and the IT groups, and are accountable for a technology solution that supports the business request. This role partners with many teams during the initial stages of the project/solution to ensure the accuracy of business cases and that solutions meet the business need.

Design, modify and create business processes used to implement business transformation solutions

Able to combine research and fact-finding with a basic understanding of applicable business processes, systems, and industry requirements

Take responsibility for investigative work to determine requirements and specify effective business processes by utilizing improvements in information systems, data management, practices, procedures, organization and equipment

Define, plan and justify (in business terms) projects to develop/implement automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes

Manage and coordinate projects approved by business stakeholders focusing on Commercial functions at optimum cost and performance in accordance with established company and divisional objectives

Support all aspects of production and work on a team to create and maintain “world class” agile practices

Maintain technical awareness at a level where alternatives can be analyzed, modeled and classified according to technical feasibility and performance

Utilize business experience and skills to assess and advise on the practicability of alternatives, marrying up technical limitations with operational realities

Assist business owners in defining acceptance tests for automated systems, and take responsibility for their proper execution

Apply available standards, methods and tools in an intelligent and effective way to produce a consistently high standard of technical and descriptive documentation, including graphical process flows

Responsible for the detailed specification and modeling of recommended solutions using resources, standards, methods and tools as required

Maintain partnership with software engineering and service delivery functions to collaborate on bringing systems to implementation using detailed organization policies and methods

Required Experience:
• Order to Cash: Pricing, eCommerce, EDI
• Advanced computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage small projects and timelines
• Experience working with manufacturing operations and distribution
• Knowledge of agile methods
• Experience and proficiency leading projects or teams
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Able to travel 10%

Preferred Experience:
• Oracle NetSuite
