This paid HR Internship is a great opportunity for 2 students to be immersed in a professional environment and learn the practical foundations of human resources while supporting the full-time STEMCO HR Team. This internship would ideally be at least 20 hours/week but includes flexible days and hours depending on the successful candidate’s availability between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. This internship will be a minimum of 6 weeks, with the potential to be extended past the initial time frame.

Promote the Sealing Technologies and Enpro culture around creating value and driving excellence in our organization by:
Onboarding candidates: ensure paperwork is completed and the candidate is ready to start their first day
Leading temporary employee orientation
Benefits orientation for new employees
Assist with timecard approval and other payroll related items
Fielding questions from employees and filtering to HR team as needed
Mining and sourcing of resumes utilizing our applicant tracking system (ATS)
Completing phone screens for candidates
Scanning files as needed
Participate in strategic project work for the greater HR Team
Learn and embody our company culture of Safety, Excellence, and Respect
COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Interest in a career in Strategic Human Resource Management
Some previous coursework or practical experience in Human Resources
Ability to keep sensitive employee and company information confidential
Ability to present information in small group settings in a knowledgeable and professional manner
Desire to learn and improve upon processes
