The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day human resource function for STEMCO, a division of the Sealing Technologies segment of Enpro. These functions include all aspects of HR including employee relations, talent acquisition, training and developing, policy and procedure alignment, compensation, payroll, performance management and compliance with state and federal laws.

Promote the Sealing Technologies and Enpro culture around creating value and driving excellence in our organization by:
Serves as support to site leadership teams on human resources related issues
Partners with management to analyze trends, metrics and develops solutions, programs and policies to keep the organization moving forward
Partners with management to develop employee retention practices
Supports the performance and talent review process and works with managers to develop talent management strategies and provides guidance and input on business workforce and successions planning
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, partnering with corporate legal department as needed
Responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding process of all employees
Serves as primary contact for payroll and leave of absence processing and related issues
Manages employee events and recognition activities at the site
Works with hiring managers to proactively recruit top talent (both hourly and salary roles)
Analyzes training needs and partners with the broader HR team in the development of programs
Develops a thorough understanding of the company culture and becomes an ambassador of that culture to current and future talent

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. PHR or SHRM- CP certified preferred
Minimum Experience: 1+ year of experience in HR Generalist, Recruiting, or other adjacent experience
