Responsible for EHS performance;
Oversight and optimization of EHS systems and policies;
Support divisional operations leadership in identifying priorities, objectives, and targets to align the site(s) with corporate strategies and in developing a strong safety culture company-wide
Develop in-depth understanding of and ensure conformance to permit conditions/regulations affecting operations in your site(s);
Assist in identifying EHS training needs and developing and assisting in implementing divisional training initiatives;
Develop and assist in implementation of programs and practices that diminish hazards and create a safe work environment;
Frequent communication with divisional operations leadership to take a proactive stance to progress toward completion of prioritized safety, health, and environmental action items;
Ensure integrity of EHS data for division.
Facilitate leadership’s understanding of the impact of regulations on the company;
Partner with EnPro divisions and other EHS Leaders to leverage global EHS best practices;
Modification to the EHS system to achieve performance;
Drive sharing of information by assisting in analyzing events and communicating results throughout the division
Effectively coaches others at their respective levels to continuously strive to increase their knowledge.

Experience as a recognized safety advocate on an emotional level to allow you to personally influence other people in the organization (this experience does not include managing safety or environmental systems).
4-yr Degree or equivalent, preferred – Engineering, environmental, safety
Familiarity and ability to reinterpret standards/regulations
Preferred Safety Certifications (CSP, CIH, or equivalent)
5+ years experience in managing safety, health, and environmental
Technical competence in environmental compliance
Experience with waste water treatment, stormwater permit, regulated waste management
Experience dealing with regulatory authorities
Language (Competent in English)
Ability to travel
Knowledge of regulatory requirements within regions
