The EHS Coordinator will collaborate with site level employees and leaders to ensure that the facility meets and exceeds all requirements pertaining to all environmental and safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, ANSI, and any other pertinent regulatory regulations in order to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.

● Ensures that all EHS policies and procedures within the plant reflect the current requirements established by the Company (Technetics / EnPro), OSHA, EPA and other applicable regulatory requirements.
● Ensures managers and supervisors are adequately trained in their responsibilities within the plant EHS program.
● Plans, develops, initiates, and monitors EHS projects across multiple functions to improve EHS results and accomplishments.
● Facilitates Safety Teams, understands and meets annual objectives and provides any required training to complete objectives.
● Coordinates plant efforts to comply with all relevant local and federal environmental regulations.
● Facilitates periodic EHS audits of the facility.
● Participates in incident investigations for all work related injuries and near misses, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions to local plant management and Corporate EHS group.
● Maintain all environmental, health and safety, workers compensation, and supplemental records relating to the position.
● Assist in training personnel within their specific job classifications and requirements EHS standards and requirements.
● Participates in corporate EHS initiatives and collaborates with colleagues at other Technetics / EnPro companies.
● Responsible for maintaining and administering all compliance reporting, metrics and records.

● Performs any other assigned duties as directed by management.
● Identifies, establishes and monitors benchmarks for measuring effectiveness of EHS.

● Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years’ work experience in a related field preferred.
● High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
● OSHA 30-hour training preferred
● Must understand and have a working knowledge of behavior based safety and implementation process.
● Demonstrates great interpersonal and communication skills.
● Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement.

● Be able to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls

● Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
● Be able to lift and/or move 15 pounds of weight on occasion
