Job Summary: The Director of Product and Strategy will develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of customer, channel, and market requirements to drive profitable global growth. Leads team through development and execution of commercial strategic planning. Ensures a product portfolio aligned with growth strategies.  Effectively executes the commercialization of new and existing products.  Liaise with Sales, Operations, Marketing and Internal Commercial teams to assure sustainable, profitable growth. This position also provides overall direction to a supply and demand team to optimize stock inventory levels and meet customer service objectives. Oversees the supply and demand function business plans are met and profitability is improved.

  • Collect and analyze the key cost drivers, market dynamics and issues, areas of innovation and alternate suppliers for business-critical risk areas with few alternatives/high costs of changing, in consultation with relevant functions to provide solid market information for decision making
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy

  • Review existing operations in a major area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered

Minimum Education:

  • Post graduate preferred or 4 year degree required
Requirements: 

Preferred experience:

  • Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level in project management, sales, or supply chain 
  • 7-10+years experience Managerial Experience
  • Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior management 
  • The ability to stay calm and poised in stressful, difficult or ambiguous situations
