Job Summary & Job Duties

ENPRO is executing a business portfolio transformation focused on unleashing Material Science to push the boundaries of humanity forward. The Communications role is part of our Corporate structure and provides an opportunity to play a key role during this exciting time of our company history. We are currently rebranding and looking to better communicate the multitude of exciting actions happening at ENPRO. The role will regularly interact with ENPRO’s senior leadership team as well as key leaders within each of our businesses.  The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for both internal and external communications for the company. In particular, the role increases cross-enterprise internal communications and serves as content manager for all key communication mechanisms.  The role is responsible for the development of communications strategy as well as internal online and digital communications including the intranet and the This is ENPRO app. The role is an individual contributor expected to interface with multiple levels/divisions of the company.

Minimum Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote and positively represent the company through internal and external communication
  • Responsible for embedding and maintaining the internal brand and style guide
  • Leads content gathering and writing to optimize content performance and employee engagement
  • Establishes metrics for each channel, measures user experience and makes recommendations for improvement
  • Stays current with latest trends in internal communication channels and digital media, and makes recommendations for further development
  • Educates and engages business stakeholders, project managers, and other internal colleagues for widespread understanding of content strategy
  • Oversee the creation of communications collateral to ensure consistent with the corporate identity, and that promote and support the company’s mission.
  • Drafts proposals for special communications projects; presents on and promotes these projects to leadership.
  • Seeks new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and changes in the organization including the launch of new products, special events, local and global community service, and other topics of interest.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations in the company to share information.
  • Prepares and distributes direct marketing products.
  • Creates and distributes monthly EnPro newsletter
  • Represents the company in a variety of settings, always promoting the company in the best possible way.  Develops and leads content audits to ensure social media content is maintained as site becomes recognized as a trusted source of information
  • Manages Corporate Giving, Community relationships, and related programs. 
  • Supports Investor Relations, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Recruiting, Diversity & Inclusion, and other Corporate teams to build content and communicate more effectively
  • Understands and conveys positive impact of ENPRO’s unique culture
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Communications or related area required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in communications. Preferably inclusive of experience in website multimedia development or in digital sector working with content creation
  • Experience in digital/intranet content development and editing
  • Knowledge and understanding of content management systems;
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to build relationships and work in a cross-functional team environment across the enterprise
  • Strong communication skills, both written (email and formal documents) and verbal (meetings and presentations).  Conveys information with clarity and directness
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize projects for results
  • Able to look around corners and anticipate future needs
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record producing quality content for all audiences
  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with multiple inputs
  • High level of curiosity and continuous learner
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done • Self-directed orientation with the ability to take initiative
