Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchases materials utilizing engineering and production schedules;
  • Receive and deliver incoming goods to end user
  • Responsible for Purchase Order maintenance and accuracy
  • Monitors inventory levels in MES
  • Gathers quotations for competitive pricing
  • Makes purchase recommendations based on quotes received
  • Evaluates vendor reliability and new supply sources
  • Review and process Blanket Orders quarterly and annually
  • Assists in cycle counts; inventory count/ audits
  • Assist at end of quarter shipping

Qualifications:

  • One to two years’ experience in a manufacturing/ biotech/mechanical environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Shipping and receiving experience
  • Microsoft Office suite

  • Organized and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Able to handle change and be flexible
  • Work within a team environment as well as independently
  • Strong work ethic displaying consistent dependability, reliability, and initiative

Working Conditions:

  • Work within a manufacturing & office environment.
  • Must be able to lift/carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Will stand 90% of time (varies within the department).
  • 60% of the day will be spent walking the plant.
  • Will sit 10% of time (varies within the department).
  • Will spend a portion of time kneeling when counting product.
  • Good eye/hand coordination.
  • Temperature is moderate within the work environment.
  • The noise level in the manufacturing environment is moderate, but occasionally can be loud
