We are looking for a talented and energetic outside sales person to join our North American Sales team in the Business Development Manager role. In this position you’ll visit key customers in the Aerospace, Energy and Industrial markets to promote Technetics’ engineered products and uncover new sales opportunities.  This exciting role will provide the opportunity to grow your career and delight your customers while being part of a dynamic, driven and growth oriented team.   

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive sales growth in North America in the Aerospace, Energy, and Industrial markets. 

  • Develop an individual tactical plan with 30-60-90 day goals in support of the strategic sales plan. 

  • Prospect for new customers and increase account penetration in defined markets. 

  • Identify customer needs and communicate customer expectations to the Sales Director and site General Managers. 

  • Promote key engineered products from three North American sites. 

  • Collaborate with sales and engineering peers in Europe to promote cross selling and support global Aerospace customers. 

  • Support activities related to new product development projects to meet customer expectations. 

  • Prepare customer visit reports summarizing follow-up actions and due dates.   

Desired Skills and Experiences 

  • Results-oriented and enthusiastic sales professional  

  • Desire to serve in a consultative selling role, to build rapport with your customers and to reach trusted advisor status. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business. MBA highly preferred.  

  • Aerospace and/or Nuclear market experience preferred. 

  • Professional sales skills and a proven track record of driving profitable growth. 

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. 

  • Remote position with about 50% travel expected.
